Having recently decided to emphasise their design credentials, Bridge needed a modernised, responsive website to invite users to engage with their expert services and top-of-the-line products.

Responsive functionality isn’t an option when it comes to designing modern websites - it’s simply a necessity. We use mobile devices more and more for online browsing, and thus websites need to respond so that they display properly on a diverse range of screen sizes. Without this, content simply isn’t accessible and users will choose to go elsewhere. This is why we only build responsive websites.

It was important that the website designs reflected Bridge’s own design-led approach. To do this, we used watercolour-style illustrations that we had recently created for Bridge’s brochures. We also featured many photographs and custom graphics. This imagery is not only engaging, but, as a picture is worth a thousand words, it demonstrates what Bridge does better than large amounts of written content could.

Video headers and transitions create an engaging user experience. Simple navigation is achieved via dropdown screen functions and an adaptive menu that’s designed to work on both desktops and touch screen devices. Services and products are clearly presented with emphasis on the holistic nature of Bridge’s work. Case studies feature large gallery sections, short explanations and customer testimonials.
