First Class Hygiene are specialist providers of washroom and pest control services. Having accumulated a large customer base, they wanted to expand their service and begin selling consumables at a cut price to better serve their clients. Actioning this would require a whole new website with inbuilt e-commerce functionality. This would also be a prime opportunity to overhaul the company aesthetics to include new branding in order to create a cleaner, more modern website.

Smartphones and tablets have revolutionised the way we use and view websites. Mobile devices are now primary means of accessing online content, so websites need to be able to respond to a huge range of different screen sizes and aspect ratios or their content cannot be consumed easily and effectively. We only build responsive websites for this very reason - because without a responsive website, you lose users.

To attract and retain buyers and users, the e-commerce site needed to be intuitive and simple to use. A login function was added, and the extensive range of products and services were divided up and displayed clearly to create an smooth and pleasant buyer experience. There are also filtering and search options should customers want to find precise products quickly and easily.

The look of the site was designed to fall in line with new branding we created for First Class. The teal, navy and white of the logo are used across the site alongside black and white photography to create a creating a modern, fresh feel that makes First Class stand out amongst the often cluttered websites of its cleaning services and consumable selling competitors.
